Ingredients:
🌾 500 g of flour like 00 Sapignoli 125 g of butter at room temperature or 125 gr of lard 🥚 3 eggs at room temperature 🍯 140 g of granulated sugar 🍋 the grated zest of a lemon 🥧 16 g of yeast for desserts 🥛 milk q.b. (between 50 and 80 ml) 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
🍳 1 egg yolk
Method:
In a bowl, beat 3 eggs with 140 g of granulated sugar.
Then add the baking powder to 500 g of sifted flour and add it to the egg and sugar mixture.
Generously grate the zest of an untreated lemon.
Lastly add 125 g of butter, a drop of anise and the milk, about 60ml.
Spread the dough obtained in a baking pan and give it the classic oval shape.
Brush with a beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes and enjoy the donut with hot custard!
